ANDREW & LAURA WEDDING

Well the big day finally arrived - May 28th 2011 - Andrew and Laura Wedding Day. Most guests in evening dress as requested and a great occasion it was. The wedding took place in the centre of Bristol at Bakers and Cutlers Halls owned by Raymond Blanc in Cabot Circus. The two halls are medieval and made a fascinating location for a wedding and subsequent reception. The festivities went on until midnight having started officially at 4pm.
On the following day Andrew and Laura held an "open house" and the two families got together for a few hours before departing for home in the afternoon. We were treated to a mammoth wedding present opening session.

Andrew and Laura left for a two week honeymoon in Italy in the early hours of last Wednesday morning.

P.S. Dougal wasn't invited so he spent four days in kennels but seems to have survived ok.

DAWN'S 12TH BIRTHDAY

It was Dawn's 12th birthday on 3rd May and as per usual she celebrated with Katy and Paul, Nanna and Grandad, at The Lounge in Driffield. She got a new mobile phone and a watch and is seen above with her "Belle" birthday cake following her role in Beauty & The Beast last weekend.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Yesterday Dawn completed her two performances as Belle in Starstrucks production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She was very good and has a splendid singing voice. Although the show is on again next weekend Dawn's participation reverts to a more minor role as someone else takes a turn at Belle.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Happy anniversary to Nanna and Grandad who reach 41 years of marriage today April 11th.

SWIMATHON 2011

"Sally's Swimmers completed their Swimathon last Friday evening and in doing so raised in excess of £500.00 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. Well done to all five. Especially well done to Dawn and Katy who both completed a mile.

MOTHERS DAY 2011

Yesterday was Mothers Day and Nanna received five cards from Uncle Simon, Uncle Pando and Auntie Katy plus one from Martin and Mikey and one from Dawn. We all went to Auntie Katy's house late afternoon for dinner (even I got dinner as well) and a few drinks.
