RUGBY CHALLENGE CUP

Grandad headed to Wembley last Saturday to meet up with Simon, Karen, Martin and Mikey and watch the Rugby League Challenge Cup final between Huddersfield and Warrington. They were all cheering for the Yorkshire team but Warrington won. Still a good game but a long day. Simon and family had flown down from Edinburgh. Grandad drove down to Bicester near Oxford to visit his brother who then provided an excellent taxi service to the railway station as the train from Bicester goes direct to Wembley Stadium.

The boys then stayed on after Uncle Simon and Auntie Karen returned home. We all went to see Dawn in Starstruck's "Hairspray". On Thursday the boys and Dawn went to York to meet Auntie Karen on the train from Edinburgh. They all had a quick visit to see Great Grandma before going to the station. ICE AGE 3 AND PUBLIC ENEMIES

Ice Age : Dawn of the Dinosaurs
When Sid's attempt to adopt three dinosaur eggs gets him abducted by their real mother to an underground lost world, his friends attempt to rescue him. Slightly disappointing, not as good as Ice Age 2. Rated 5.5/10.
Public Enemies
Public Enemies
The Fed's try to take down notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during a booming crime wave in the 1930's. Rated 7.5/10.
