Nanna and Grandad met their old friends Kelvin and Geraldine last Saturday to enjoy a few drinks and a curry as they try and do several times a year.Last Thursday they went to the Garden Centre at Hutton Cranswick for a meal and gardening quiz when they managed to be in the winning team. The prize of a hanging basket has been donated to a raffle for Marie Curie Cancer Care funds.
Talking Marie Curie, Nanna spent a good deal of Sunday manning a stall at a local car boot sale. They managed to raise about £110.00 for their efforts. Grandad and I walked down to see them (and buy a big broom). We then went round to Katy and Paul to enjoy a BBQ on Sunday evening and yes I enjoyed two sausages.
