NANNA'S 65TH BIRTHDAY

The BIG day finally arrived with good weather thank goodness. Nanna had invited 18 (dancing) friends and partners for a buffet lunch and a few (or more) drinks. Because it was so warm it turned into a birthday garden party. Even Colin (Sally's brother) and family looked in. Loads of cards, flowers, balloons etc and a good time was had by all.

EDWARD & BECKY WEDDING

Nanna has a cousin - Susan - who lives in Norfolk. Edward is Susan's younger son and he got married to Becky on Saturday 6th June. Nanna and Grandad went to the wedding which was held in Aylsham and a reception held at the Links hotel in West Runton near Cromer. Edward is a great railway enthusiast and lots of pictures were taken at the local narrow gauge railway station. The reception theme was "Disney" - luckily Grandad was wearing an appropriate tie !!

ONE-OFF BRASS

The latest "money raiser" for Marie Curie funds was held on Saturday evening at Driffield School. The programme was extremely varied and very enjoyable. It looks as if over £1000 has been raised by the band and associated raffle etc.
