FAMILY PARTY

All the family came last weekend for the second half of Nanna's 65th birthday party. Simon, Karen, Martin and Mikey ; Uncle Pando, Auntie Katy, Paul, Dawn, Georgia and Jamie ; Colin and family and Susan and Giles from Norfolk. The boys then stayed on after Uncle Simon and Auntie Karen returned home. We all went to see Dawn in Starstruck's "Hairspray". The boys enjoyed a few walks with me (with some Geocaching) a visit to Big Fun and The Deep in Hull plus Driffield Show on Wednesday. On Thursday the boys and Dawn went to York to meet Auntie Karen on the train from Edinburgh. They all had a quick visit to see Great Grandma before going to the station. After lunch at Pizza Hut the boys returned to Edinburgh on the train.

NEW "TREAT" BALL

Hello folks its your old mate Dougal here. This is an up to date picture of me with a new "treat" ball. Apparently you fill up the ball with food or treats and then I pat it around until the bits come out. It works and makes a noise. I have also dug various holes in Nanna's and Grandad's lawn underneath bushes so I can lay in them to keep cool in the hot weather. I think Grandad expects me to fill them in as well when summer is over. Ha ha ha. Uncle Simon and family have gone off to Italy for a weeks holiday then they will be coming down to see me soon and the boys are staying for a few days. More playtime.

DAWN'S SCHOOL SPORTS DAY

Dawn came first in the girls's sprint and sack race, second in the potato race, and her team came third in the relay. A pretty good effort.
