MOTHERS DAY

Notwithstanding the walking wounded, Great Grandma, Nanna, Grandad, Katy and Dawn went out to the Lounge for Mothers Day lunch and a very good one it turned out to be.
Grandma returned to the Fracture Clinic at York Hospital on Monday and had a new "pot" put on her arm. This has helped and she returned home yesterday evening. Carers will be calling twice a day to make sure she is ok and Nanna and Grandad will pay regular visits.

HOUSE OF "CROCS"

Medical Reports : Grandma Eileen is making some progress although her arm will be in plaster for another month. She is staying with Nanna and Grandad but may well try out her own flat on her own in the near future. She is still in pain. Grandad is still suffering but has managed to take me for a reasonable walk today. He is gradually getting better.
A Single Man : Everyone went to see this film yesterday. A story of an English professor who, after the sudden death of his partner, tries to go about his typical day in Los Angeles. Colin Firth won the Best Actor BAFTA and was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar. Rated 8/10
